After 44 years in public education—about half that time as an elementary school principal—Julie sill stands as a strong voice for education as the keystone for an informed and enlightened public.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Julie’s education encompasses Rollins College (FL), Wittenberg University (OH), Michigan State University, the University of Utah and a Masters Degree in Education Administration from Brigham Young University.
Julie arrived in Salt Lake City in 1978, where she dove into her specialty—Special Education. In her last three Salt Lake City School District assignments, Julie sucessfully raised grant monies in support of academic, performing arts and environmental programs.
Julie Miller is a recipient of the Huntsman Award for Excellence in Education.
